Mission 2023 Initiative - Concluding Phase

Zep Pratishthan’s Mission 2023 initiative culminated in the distribution of educational kits to 90 eager students at Thirani Vidyalaya in Thane. Over the past few months, the dedicated efforts of Zep Pratishthan members, who traveled thousands of kilometers, ensured that 2000 students across Maharashtra now have the tools they need for academic success. The joy and gratitude expressed by the students, teachers, and principal at Thirani Vidyalaya highlighted the impact of this initiative. Special recognition was given to Shri Sandeep Pachange for his guidance during the event and to all the generous donors and volunteers who made this massive project possible. The initiative’s success reinforces Zep Pratishthan’s commitment to education, and they look forward to continuing their efforts with future projects, such as the “One Pen, One Notebook” initiative.

Swachhata-Hich-Seva-Initiative

On October 1, 2023, Zep Pratishthan joined forces with Police Mitra for the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign, conducting a cleanliness drive at Thane Nagar Police Station and surrounding areas. Led by DCP Shri Ganesh Gawde and Senior Police Inspector Shri Vijaykumar Deshmukh, the initiative saw active participation from police personnel and Zep members, highlighting the importance of maintaining clean surroundings for health and prosperity.

Diwali-Snacks-for-150-Children

Project Tejomay 2023 continued its mission of spreading joy during Diwali with a special snack distribution at Sharda Vidyalaya Ashram School in Thane. Zep Pratishthan provided festive treats to 150 children and staff members, creating a warm and joyous atmosphere. The event was further enriched by the presence of journalist Pragya Mhatre from Dainik Lokmat, who offered inspiring words to the children. The initiative was supported by dedicated members of Zep Pratishthan, including Santosh Utekar, Devanand Jadhav, and others, ensuring a memorable Diwali celebration for the students.

Educational kits and snacks were distributed to 300 tribal students in Palghar, The initiative also included health sessions and science activities. On November 5, 2023, Zep Pratishthan brought the joy of Diwali to nearly 300 tribal students in the remote village of Behedpada, Palghar district. As part of their ongoing “Project Tejomay,” the NGO has been celebrating an educational Diwali with these underprivileged communities for the past five years. This year, the initiative included distributing educational kits, art supplies, and festive snacks like chaklis and laddus. The event also featured health awareness sessions for village girls, emphasizing menstrual health, and hands-on science activities inspired by the Chandrayaan mission. The celebration was a blend of education and festivity, leaving a lasting impact on the children and their families.

1-350-Saplings-for-Shivrajyabhishek

Zep Pratishthan and Amber International School planted 350 trees at Bhimadri School in Karjat, celebrating Shivrajyabhishek’s 350th anniversary. Supported by Amber International School, which contributed saplings, these trees will be planted at Bhimadri School in Karjat, a school adopted by Zep. In recognition of their contribution, Zep Pratishthan honored the school, with gratitude expressed to Principal Mrs. Pratika Das, faculty, students, and parents. The event was attended by Zep Pratishthan’s president, Mr. Vikas Dhanawade, and other key members, reaffirming the school’s ongoing commitment to supporting educational initiatives.
